Unleashing the Power of Content: My Multipurpose Content Creation Strategy With ChatGPT
In the bustling world of digital marketing, content remains king.
More than just written words or video clips, it's an expression of ideas, insights, and values – a connection that invites audiences into a shared journey.
Today, I want to share with you my unique content creation process, which starts from a 'Big Idea' and seamlessly expands across multiple platforms, producing anywhere from 4 to 12 pieces of highly-engaging content.
I hope with this framework you can produce more content in less time. Continue to connect with your audience, or build one, so you can make the impact you are called to make.
Every powerful piece of content begins with a 'Big Idea'.
Crafting the Big Idea comes from research and brainstorming. It requires deep understanding and often a spark of inspiration. I search YouTube video, trends, and high engagement ideas on VidIQ.
I eventually walk away with a my big idea, insight, or revelation that will resonate with my audience and provide value. It's about identifying a topic or perspective that is not only relevant and engaging but also provides a unique viewpoint or solution.
Once the 'Big Idea' is identified, it's time to break it down into compelling talking points.
These serve as pillars supporting the big idea, delving into specific aspects, perspectives, or implications of the topic at hand. They form the structure around which the entire content piece is built.
I use these talking points to guide the narrative, ensuring the content remains focused and relevant.
I spend about 1-2 hours developing this Big Idea and talking points.
Enter the magic and speed of AI and ChatGPT.
With the talking points established, I turn to the power of AI, specifically ChatGPT, to write a comprehensive blog post.
The AI tool takes the 'Big Idea' and talking points and molds them into an informative, engaging, and well-structured blog post.
This step is where the Big Idea truly comes to life, translated into easy to read ideas for the audience to engage with.
The promt I usually use is something along the lines of:
Act as a world-class educator in [TOPIC/NICHE]. Take my Big Idea, talking points, and keywords listed below and write me a comprehensive and clear blog post. Highlight key quotes and though-provoking ideas by making them bold font. Then write me a META Description. Write in a confident tone and informative writing style.

KEYWORDS:
After ChatGPT spits out a blog post, I then review it and make my own edits adding a touch of NewHeidts spice. I also identify quotes or short specific thoughts that I can post to Threads (I just started doing this).
From start to finish, a written and edited blog post it usually takes me two hours.
The blog post then serves as a foundation for a YouTube script.
Using ChatGPT, I plug the blog post in and rewrite it into an engaging script suitable for a video format. Once again, I review the script and add the NewHeidts voice and spice to it.
The Prompt I use here looks like this:
Act as a world-class communicator. Take the blog post below and rewrite it into a YouTube Video Script. Write in a friendly tone and conversational style. Use storytelling throughout the script.
BLOG POST: (Cut and Paste)
This transformation takes into account the unique nuances of video content, such as the need for a more conversational tone, the incorporation of visual elements, and strategic pauses for emphasis or viewer engagement.
The YouTube script is then brought to life in a video.
This is where take the script and shoot the video. I personally connect with my audience, articulating the 'Big Idea' and talking points in an engaging, relatable manner. It's not just about conveying information but also about creating a shared experience with viewers.
At times I follow my script and at times I move through key talking points with a more free-flow of speaking.
Once the YouTube video is ready, I use another AI tool called OpusClip to segment the video into shorter clips or 'reels'.
These clips, often centered around key insights or impactful moments from the video, are designed for easy consumption and wider reach, particularly on platforms where short-form content thrives.
These clips are then published across various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and my main website.
Each platform caters to a specific audience demographic, enabling the 'Big Idea' to resonate with a diverse range of viewers. I am all in with YouTube so I make sure everything it high-quality for that platform.
This process illustrates how a single 'Big Idea' can be transformed and repurposed into multiple pieces of engaging content, maximizing reach and impact.
It's a testament to the versatility and power of content in the digital era.
Remember, your content is a reflection of your brand's values and voice, so take the time to ensure it's crafted and disseminated thoughtfully and strategically. If your brand or business is not creating content, you leaving so much potential and money on the table.
Use this process and take your content game to the next level 📈🚀
