I just celebrated another year around the sun and reached 32 years of life last week. What a year it has been.
I am so grateful for my life and lessons pre-32 years young and I am excited for the lessons and life that continually lies ahead.
I want to share with you the single, most important thing I learned so far in life is that….
“Your current experience of Life is just a reflection of the current you” or in other words, “As below, so above.”
It’s taken me years to realize this.
It has taken me hundreds of meditation and reflection hours to grasp this and fix/accept parts of me I didn’t like.
Your external experience, environment, world is just a reflection of your internal experience, environment, world.
A simple example,
If you believe all people are inherently bad, you probably meet a lot of bad people.
If you believe all people are inherently good, you probably meet a lot of great people!
I firmly believe that if there is an issue in your personal life that keeps showing up, it is because the issue has not been dealt with internally.
I always like to think of it like this, If my world is chaotic and out of order, this means I have been chaotic and out of order. In order to fix my chaotic and out-of-order experience, I must first get myself in order (or my ducks in a row) in order for the worldly experience to match me.
If you want to change your current experience of life, you first much change yourself. (Period)
Many people, like myself for so long, always try to change their external environment first without changing themselves.
They move cities, quit jobs, end relationships, find new things, hop from opportunity to opportunity, yet they continue to experience the same issues everywhere because they haven’t done the most important thing first —> change themselves.
Does this make sense?
This is a never-ending process, you are always growing, changing, and evolving.
I believe that you can make the rest of your life the best of your life 💙
So, reflect on these:
What do you keep experiencing in your life that you don’t like? Pain is always a signal that something needs to be seen, fixed internally first
What do you keep experiencing in your life that you do like? Great!
What are the beliefs you have about people, money, government, world, spirituality, religions, etc? Are these beliefs serving you or limiting you?
If you reflect on these and make small changes over time you will begin to see a dramatic change in your experience of life.
It may take hours, days, and even years to rework your internal world, but I can tell you 1000000% it is worth it.
Your family depends on you, your future/current spouse depends on you, your future/current children depend on you, your community depends on you, the people who you are called to serve depend on you.
You got this 🤜🤛
Keep going,
Kyle
