NewHeidts helps people achieve their goals and make an impact with their business. It's important to start with a clear vision so you can decide what you want to build and how you can get there. Having a plan helps keep you focused and make sure you are making the right decisions.
When NewHeidts starts working with any new partner one of the first things we do is get clear on what their foundation looks like.
We do this because it allows us to see how high (or not) we can build and grow.
You can't build a high rise with a townhome foundation (or with just a townhome blueprint).
That's why we created a business growth template called, The Vertex Blueprint. Helping brands go to that next highest point above 7-figures and beyond.
The first part of this foundation is The Vision.
Many people try to start a brand to make some quick cash in the short term. Thats ok. They have a short-term vision to build something quick, make a few bucks (if possible due to start up success), then get out of it. Or they quit because "it just isn't working."
But the entrepreneurs/founders/teams who we love working with the most are the ones who are a part of a Brand who have longer term goals and a bigger vision. Not just for the business but for their lives as well.
Sure making some good moolah and having fun is well...fun. BUT the entrepreneurs who are trying to build something that supports their life, the lives around them, and really make some impact are the best!
They align with our vision, our mission, our goals, and the impact we are trying to make.
The Vision what we walk through in our Vertex Blueprint helping partners develop a core foundation to which we can build from.
The Vision helps us grow a brand from all angles. From marketing to hiring to product ideas, having a clearly defined vision gets everyone in alignment when as they work to grow the brand. That allows for fast break throughs and reaching new heights because everyone is aligned and on board to brining the vision to life.
Here is what we walk through for The Vision.
What Do You Want
"A Man Without Vision Shall Perish"
What Do you Want? What’s The Number? Why did you start this business? What’s the end goal? Lifestyle Goal?
WHY DO YOU WANT THAT?
Do you want to have an exit? If so, for how much and when?
Vision
"What is Vision? It's clearly defining who and what your organization is, where it's going, and how it's going to get there."
What does your business look like 10 years from now? What does your life look like 10 years from now? Cast a vision. This also helps when sharing your vision with others and getting an understanding for who is and who isn't aligned with the vision.
Five Year Theme
Wrap up these next 5 years with 2 - 3 words that can define your theme. This is meant to set an intention and be broad
Ex. Build, Scale, Exit
Three Year Picture
Break down your 10-year vision. What do these next three years need to look like in order to strive and be in alignment with your 10-year vision? Write out some big measurable goals - We then break this down year by year in our Impacter Flow.
Mission
Make your impact. What change do you seek to make in culture? In an individual life? Wrap it together in a sentence or two.
Core Values
"When You know what you stand for you don't need to compete."
What are 4-8 Core Values your brand stands by?
This sets the tone for what kind of business you would like to be. Getting clear on your values helps you look through a lens when doing anything for your business. From hiring to partnerships to marketing - you'll align with people who align with you.
Three Uniques
What are three unique aspects of your business that can help you stand out in the marketplace?
Ex. NewHeidts - Business Growth, Personal Growth & Lifestyle
The Vision is your guiding path. Things can change over time but establishing these now helps you FOCUS and stay the course when you may be veering off path and shiny object syndrome tries to kick in.
Having all these help create a foundation from which you (we) can build. These are your guiding stars. They will help you make decisions that keep you on your path and avoid going off your path.
Getting clear on The Vision now, saves a lot of time and money over the long term as you build your brand.
What's your vision?
