The Year 2020 gave me a lot of time to think (maybe it gave that to you too).

This year I have come to understand that we should do the things that fill us with joy, happiness, love and also keep us curious, playful and fulfilled in life.

Im coming out of this year with a new perspective on quite a few things and building a resume is one of them.

I no longer seek to build my resume so I can get promoted, get paid more, have lots of experience when it comes to different fields...or whatever makes up a grade A resume. 

My perspective is now to build a life resume. What can I do in my days, my months and years that build what I think is an incredible life?

I know when I look back at my life when I am 125 years old, I wont be reminiscing about the 10 years I worked at a restaurant, all the meetings I had to attend, the slack messages, hell I probably wont even be thinking about 

I will be remembering the countries I traveled to, the interesting conversations I had, the cultures that put me so far outside my comfort zone that helped me grow. Spending 11 months traveling to 11 Spanish speaking countries just so I can speak Spanish fluently.

When I am 125 years old, i'll also be thinking about the incredible life my family and I built together.

That is what building a life resume is all about. That is what I seek to do.

Create a life I continually love to live.
