What. A. Year.

I mean the challenge of 365 days with no alcohol itself is a big challenge, now going through 2020 with isolation, quarantine, and madness in the world just threw a whole bunch of gas on the fire of temptation.

Going into this year I wanted to do a sober year. I was turning 30 years young and moving into a new city. I had lots of opportunities moving into my life. I had a few things moving for NewHeidts and I did not want to be set back due to a hangover or headache any of these days.

I wanted to make sure I was able to show up at 150% every day with myself.

Come September, I was ready to give in.

But I didn't. I made it through.

This year I learned so much about myself, about life. I've also been in the best shape mentally and physically then I have ever been. A major factor in being able to have such an incredible year admits the amount of chaos was that I did not drink any alcohol.

I hope you can take something away from this podcast episode and apply it to your own life in order to reach a new height.
